We're
back! After a couple of lineup changes in the last few years The Biscuit Mafia are back on the road again and doing
what we like most, gigging, having a laugh and occasionally butchering perfectly good songs.
Our original
singer and drummer, Elle and Tim respectively, have departed, we wish them both well. We have since recruited Mell
on vocals and Jay on drums so now, the not so new, lineup is:
The Biscuit Mafia:
Mell - Vocals
Andy - Guitar & backing vocals
Jim - Bass & backing vocals
Jay - Drums
The Biscuit Mafia play a mixture of covers and originals, approx
80/20 split. Playing rock, indie, punk and some pop - but not as you know it! Covers from the likes of the
Cult, Pink, Free, Gossip, Clash, Jimmy Eat World, Alanis Morissette, Beatles, Ramones, White Stripes and some... and
for anyone who has ever seen us no need to mention... Atomic Kitten! We generally try to mix it up a bit
so there is something for everyone, some fast, slow, heavy and some laid back stuff but do try to Biscuitise some
of the covers to give them a new twist!
With Mell jumping into the Biscuit tin we've had
an enforced break from gigging and been busy getting Mell up to speed, rehearsing new material and we started
gigging again in March. We have a number of gigs booked up in the early summer, see the Gigs & Gals for details.
If you've see us before then it would be great to see you again and if you haven't then why not give us a try,
we don't think you'll be disappointed!
